Maintaining Legal Reasoning
"Building a bridge of understanding between rigid legal texts and the living dynamics of society."
Starting from a Concern
In lecture halls and academic forums, the law often appears so majestic, yet at the same time, feels so distant. I, Adam Ilyas, am often disturbed by an irony: we demand society to obey the law (legal fiction), but the law itself is presented in complex, elitist, and inaccessible language.
This reality creates a divide. Many injustices occur not merely because of the absence of rules, but because of the public's ignorance of their constitutional rights. The law seems to be an "ivory tower" puzzle that can only be solved by a select few.
It is this intellectual unease that gave birth to Indonesian Legal Literacy. This platform is not just a news medium, but an effort to carry out democratization of legal knowledge. We are here to translate the complexity of articles into enlightening narratives.
"The law was not created to live in an ivory tower. It must come down to earth, greet the market, and be understood by every citizen."
Editor's Note
We do not simply simplify sentences. We strive to build healthy legal logic in the public sphere. For us, presenting legal information is not about chasing virality, but about scientific accountability.
Every article you read here is written with strict standards like academic writing:
- Based on Primary References (Laws & Court Decisions).
- Reinforced by Secondary References (Books, Scientific Journals, Doctrines).
- Objective in analysis and upholding academic ethics.
