Zainal Arifin Mochtar, familiarly called Uceng, was officially inaugurated as Professor of the Faculty of Law, Gadjah Mada University (UGM) at the Senate Hall, UGM Central Building, Thursday (1/15/2026).

In the inauguration, Uceng opened his speech by saying that he would deliver an inauguration speech as Professor in the field of State Institution studies in the Constitutional Law cluster of the Faculty of Law, UGM.

"Today, I will deliver an inauguration speech as Professor in the field of State Institution studies in the Constitutional Law cluster of the Faculty of Law, Gadjah Mada University. I titled it; Strengthening Conservatism and Weakening Independence of State Institutions: Seeking Relations and Unveiling Ways of Improvement," Uceng said, opening his speech.
