Bojonegoro, LEGAL LITERACY – On Saturday, June 8, 2024, students from the Universitas Pembangunan Nasional "Veteran" Jawa Timur carried out community service activities by holding a community service to clean the environment in the area around Alun-Alun and Taman Rajekwesi, Bojonegoro.
This activity aims to foster a sense of public awareness of environmental cleanliness. One of the members of the community service activity, Moch Ilyas Akbar Rizki, said that “we as the nation's successors must always have a sense of nationalism, where nationalism does not have to do something big, small things like keeping the environment clean from waste are examples of a sense of nationalism.”
This community service started at 14.00 WIB. The students enthusiastically carried out environmental cleaning activities such as sweeping, picking up trash, and cleaning several areas in the Bojonegoro city square and Rajekwesi Park.
Community service carried out by eight students UPN "Veteran" Jawa Timur It is hoped that this can be an example for tourists in the Bojonegoro square and Rajekwesi park as well as other young generations to take an active role in maintaining environmental cleanliness and sustainability. The students hope that this activity can have a positive impact on the surrounding community and be the beginning of closer collaboration between the campus and the community in various social and environmental activities in the future.
We hope that this community service activity, which coincides with the anniversary of Pancasila, will make the surrounding community able to implement the services of the heroes by protecting and caring for the environment, which is implied in the meaning of Love for the Motherland.
